She was super excited about her 11th birthday. Her birthday month had begun and she was counting days to the big day. She was gonna be a big girl now. And what was exciting her more than anything else was the promise by her mum to buy her , her first denim jeans and jacket...it was all the rage at that time..
She imagined how cool and pretty she was gonna look in those.. And then interrupting her reminisce, everyone broke into the birthday song.. she smiled.. She was turning 28 now..her sister had gifted her these loafers..to remind her of her love for denims... They weren't a pair of shoes..they were a part of her childhood..:)
