“Internal Bliss”
She saw the tiny triangular flags flutter across the sky. The spirit of Buddha was in the air. The clear skies, the hilly desert and a road that was straight for miles ahead. It was a feeling she had never experienced before. The power of nature and how minuscule everything around truly is. She took off her sunglasses and her jacket. She wanted to experience it raw - the sun shone bright, the mountains reflected colors she had never seen before and the chill in the air went down her lungs. And then she saw the lake - as radiantly blue as only pure water can be. She couldn't help the lump in her throat - the lake was so beautiful that she felt like crying. She laughed at the realization - if such immense beauty can cause her to tear up, happiness and pain were indeed two sides of the same coin.
